The migas were delicious! Friendly staff, clean and safe restaurant. I definitely will be back.

Really wanted to eat here, smelled great, looked great but the very first bite of my pancake that i cute with my fork i just happened to look at and find and entire bug in it.

Great breakfast, and really great prices!! If you're looking for a fast, cheap, and filling breakfast on the island, look no further! Even the "small" breakfast was a full plate that fills you up for around $5. We only paid $15 for 2 people to have a great meal!

I generally do not give 5-star reviews, but this place deserves it. Excellent traditional style breakfast with large portions. Staff was fast and friendly, providing refills on coffee and drinks without us even having to ask. We will definitely be going back.

My late husband and I used to enjoy coming here for breakfast. 4 years later, it is still fresh, tasty, and a bargain!!! The hot sauce is hot, but not too hot to taste the food.

This place is always busy in the morning for breakfast. Open until 2PM and does serve lunch as well. Good value and great traditional American breakfast. Small place around 16 tables so if you go when busy expect a wait. Has been on island a long time and has a good reputation. Clean. Good size portions - big pancakes and cinnamon buns. We had lunch - chicken sandwich and a tuna sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich was juicy and came with avocado, fresh grilled mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. The tuna sandwich had a LOT of tuna. We were already half done when I remembered pictures - sorry

I lived in South Padre for a few months. This place was my favorite place to go alone in the early mornings. It’s small and quiet. Do yourself a favor and try the breakfast tacos with a cup of coffee. I think about it almost every day.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. The place is quaint and unassuming. It's not a fancy breakfast establishment, but the food is worth the visit. The portions are good sized and flavorful. My wife recommends The Special fajita breakfast.

My family really enjoys Ted's and takes me here every time I visit. The food is affordable for the island and the service is quick. Ted's is only open for breakfast and lunch but serves typical American breakfast, sandwiches, and fajitas. The food is good but I didn't particularly like the biscuits--where were more like rolls.

Great service feels like home. The waitresses were very welcoming and friendly. The fajita breakfast was good. The only neg is that the fajita meat was a little tough but the flavor was good. I should've told them how I wanted my meat served "my fault". I'd go back though

One of my favorite local joints, treated myself to a delicious birthday breakfast. Super friendly service. My only comment would be the bacon - it was well done the way I requested but was room temp.

Beyond expectations. My family and I had breakfast here, the food is outstanding. I had Migas, I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back tomorrow to try Huevos Rancheros.

The best french toasts and breakfasts on the island.

Quick service with a smile. I had the islander and it was fantastic. Eggs were cooked perfectly. It was crowded when we went in. That's always a good sign. Compliments to the chef. 👌

Food was excellent! Buiskets were great paired with the sausage gravy. The kids enjoyed their plates as well. It is true about the wait. We were there almost an hour and a half for breakfast. Almost an hour in line. It a very small yet popular place. I will definitely go back but this time I'll try to go when it's not the rush hours for them.

ordered 3 sandwiches. 1 was delicious, a chicken club. ordered a philly cheese steak. that was a big disappointment. it had marinara on it! was soggy. steak sandwich was just ok. fresh veg and bread. but meat was meh. they were nice and i asked for the pickle not to touch mt food. they put it in a separate box. was very 😊 with that.

Great service, prices, and home cooked breakfast! Our kiddo got a cinnamon roll and we had the breakfast tacos which were large and filling - great way to start a full day of fun! We’ll be back in the morning!

The breakfast fajitas are delicious as are the pancakes, eggs , biscuits, and menu items. We have been coming to Ted's at least once on every trip to S. Padre Island over the past several years.

Very good food for an affordable price. Got us in promptly even thought they were full. Would definitely recommend for a good breakfast or lunch.

Hands down the best pancakes in town, you gotta throw in the pecans though.

Decent food and very nicely priced great waitresses and very relaxed breakfast/ cafe feeling. Awesome for family breakfast or couples that don’t want to break the pocket book.

The eggs were good...the rest very cheap..service couldv'e been better. Not asked if coffee could be refilled until our meal was finished. Much room for improvement!

Good fast service .. friendly service and reasonable price

We stopped at Ted's this morning on our way out and the table we're going to sit at was dirty so we asked if the waitress could clean it. Well she cleaned it and brought us menu's and our drink's and never came back. All the tables around us got seated and their orders taken while we waited. Needless to say, we walked out. If it's that insulting to wipe a table during this time of covid then maybe we didn't want to eat there anyway.

Great food served very fast.

We were seated right away for brunch! Karen our server also think she might have been the owner was just so nice and courteous. Everything we had was delicious and prices were low compared to other places on the island, just in our budget!! Thank you so much Ted's for an excellent experience and best way to get our day started.

It was kinda disappointing. I can make better breakfast. Dont order the huevo rancheros. The potatoes on the basic breakfast come cold. Only good thing was the pecan pancakes.

I feel $3 for a breakfast taco was too pricey. The service and staff were great though.

We came here for breakfast and the food was excellent!!! Great prices and friendly service too.

First there is not hostess. Upon arrival no one greeted us. Weren’t sure what to do but assumed someone would come up and put us on the list. 10 min later we finally asked and was told it was first come first serve. So we looked and around assumed based on who was there before us that we had two people in front us. So we waited and then it was our turn to grab an empty table. But not so fast! Someone who just got there grabbed the table. So we asked the manager and he said that is the way it works. First come first serve. Well that’s BS. I am not going to fight for a table. We won’t be back.

Both lunch and breakfast are great here. I came here the first time and had a burger. I had to come back and try the breakfast. Enjoyed the number 4 with pancakes

This place is small but so good it felt like home they treat you great and the food is affordable. It was full and that says a lot will visit again.

A cosy restaurant with good food! We had grilled mushroom cheese sandwich, pancake, fajitas, chicken tacos, omlettes and fresh ground coffee. Fajitas and chicken tacos were really good. Coffee was not that great. Others were just right. Would go there again.

Prices and service was great. But the food!! So good! The biscuits are great! Also the club triple decker sandwich was to die for. Anything you get here will be goid

Service was good, next door neighbor friendly. Servings were adequate, food was filling. They do give you the option on bacon to be cooked crisp or not crisp. Eggs were cooked perfectly.

Migas normally come with cheese, but I ordered them with NO cheese because the food looks and is dry when they try to melt the cheddar cheese. Fresh with no cheese tastes delicious.

Went for breakfast and greatly enjoyed it! They have a good American breakfast but also decent Mexican food and well. I got two breakfast tacos and was pleasantly surprised by the price size. They come with eggs and potatoes by default and you can choose to add bacon or cheese chorizo. The staff was friendly and it just had this mom and pop feel to the place. Great little restaurant.

First time there had the Ribeye steak and eggs. Ribeye was thin as beef skirt, and overcooked. Service was friendly and good. Tried the banana pancakes would get that next time they where good.
